falsely accused of murder and condemned to execution, water wolf mahi finds herself on the run from her own tribe. however, in her desperate escape, she discovers a far greater danger—one that jeopardizes not only her own life or the fate of her tribe, but that threatens the existence of every tribe in ekhala: water, fire, light, night, ice, earth, and cherry blossom.to save the tribes, mahi must place her trust in wolves deemed untrustworthy, and believe in the unbelievable.
